Dead Flowers In Spring At Sunset

Dead Flowers In Spring at Sunset

Just liked this photo. I don't rip out the flowers simply because they're not yellow, red, pink, or purple. There's a lot of beauty in dead prairie flowers that last through Winter, and Spring. A small patch of dead flowers provides insects, and birds a place to survive harsh weather.

This photo looks west at sunset sometime in March in Central Illinois.
